Neoephemera purpurea? This is a somewhat rare and unheard of mayfly to the flyfishing crowd. In several seasons of raising aquatic insects, I have only come across two of these specimens. There are only several species in the Neoephemera genus. In addition, Neoephemera is the only genus represented in the Neoephemeridae family. Notice the unique and extremely large gill covers over the abdomen.
